There are countless examples how you can ask for money ( Jodorowsky says it begging) on crowfunding platform like kickstarter and have a positive attitude, without insulting any person or an entire industry making you look more righteous in comparison.And he has gave us another example.
He says what's wrong in that as everybody knows it costs a lot of money to make a movie, no matter how obscure or art house it is, so he clearly tells that he is not making his movie to make profit out of it ,just for his love of film making.
