Oopiri movie review by movies out

Beauty not admired is a sin. Oopiri is a beauty.
The movie is based on The Intouchables By Olivier Nakache & Éric Toledano.

At the outset  the veteran superstar Nag  should be lauded for picking such an unusual character of a paraplegic. Special mention needs to be made Tamil hero Karthi gets into the skin of the character and director Vamshi Paidipally after Brindavanam with Jr NTR comes up with a supremely sensible film  that has many soulful and breathtaking moments in it.

The movie is about a  millionaire(Nag)who emphasizes more on human relations and the associated warmth in the feel of the touch of a human hand  than any other materialistic things .  The movie is a gripping duel between one who is physically challenged and another one who is emotionally challenged. This is a well crafted beautiful bondage movie.

Performances of actors in the movie:

Nagarjuna: Nagarjuna's courage to take up such a character is laudable and gutsy. He is superb as the paraplegic billionaire. Despite being in the wheel chair all the time, the charm in Nagarjuna is present all the time. It looked to me as if he was trying to convey a word or two to his sons about nuances of acting

Karthi: Karthi is a very good choice for this character. He gets into the skin of the character and lives every moment of it. The result is the finest performance ever in his career so far. After a long hiatus in Telugu movies  "Awara" being his last, this movie should definitely revive his career in Tollywood.
Tamanna and Others: Tamanna is elegant and suave in her role. She is very good with her expressions too. Prakash Raj and Jayasudha added  value to the proceedings.

Technicalities reviewed from movies out:

Vamshi Paidipally surprises us with his sensible handling of the French remake 'The Intouchables'. He has done a fabulous job in getting the emotions right. There are many moments that prove his capabilities and sensibilities as a director. He has definitely shown the other facet of his directorial skills. This man will go places, if not already. This is one of the best remakes telugu film industry has seen. The clarity in Vamsi’s mind is visible on the screen.
Music by Gopi sunder is good in songs but leaves a lot to be desired in BGM scores. I am not particularly happy with rerecording. Keervani or MS or DSP could have taken the movie to an altogether different level. But in  all fairness Gopi sunder has not disappointed.

Cinematography by PS Vinod  is superb, neat and clean like the movie. The action scene  of car chase around Eiffel Tower is stunningly shot.

Is this movie worth watchable??

Go and watch. Seldom you find such neat, clean, entertaining comical melodramas in telugu. Revive your warmth in human touch.
