The correct way to make a trailer... I wish the new movies didn't spoil everything in their first few trailer releases.
Yes! I love it! This is what I always wanted to see! Show us the stories within the bigger story. There's a lot of gold to mine in the Star Wars universe, a lot of stories to tell. The scope of the universe is just massive. I'm thrilled about this! Love it!
Of course, that means nothing--you can't judge any film from just one little trailer. The truth is in the entire film--we'll have to wait until Dec. 16 to see. Meanwhile, all of the cast and crew information has been posted publicly--so there's not the veil of secrecy surrounding this that engulfed "Force Awakens."
I've got to say, while they did change things around from the graphic novels, I like the direction this is heading. Not in story line, but in medium. Visually, it's stunning. Auditory, it's haunting. I'm excited to see what this movie had to offer, and to hell with the hipsters!
