Neerja, which got a decent opening on Friday as expected, managed to pull the crowd by the evening shows and collected Rs 4.79 crore total. The tremendous word of mouth and favorable reviews from the critics propelled the film to a figure of Rs 7.65 crore on Saturday, and it has registering more than a 60 per cent growth.Highest Total earnings in a single day came for the movie with almost 30 per cent on Sunday collecting Rs 09.75cr crore . The total collections for Neerja stand at Rs 22.19cr crore at the end of the opening weekend, making it a super-hit already that helped sonam kapoor's career a stability. The film is likely to generate solid numbers through the second week as well because of no big release on this Friday.
